Dr. Steed is originally from Alberta, Canada.  He grew up in a small farming community close to the Rocky Mountains where summers were spent fishing, hiking, and camping.  He received some of his undergraduate education in Alberta and then later transferred to Brigham Young University in Utah.  He went on and completed his doctorate degree at the California College of Podiatric Medicine, now the Samuel Merritt College.  He spent the next 2 years in Palo Alto, CA in his residency at the Veterans Hospital of Palo Alto which is associated with rotations at the Stanford University Medical Hospital.

He is also a member of the Colorado Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

He loves spending time with his family, including his wife and 4 children.  Time is often spent running around to soccer, gymnastics, church events, birthdays, community events and somewhere in there is work.

He has been practicing in Longmont since 1999.  Due to increasing growth the practice was moved from south Longmont to a newer suite next to the Longmont Hospital.  He enjoys what he does, primarily meeting so many wonderful people with an opportunity to help them.  His practice consists of the elderly, young children, athletes and families.  We hope you will have the opportunity to meet Dr. Steed and present him with your foot challenge.
